Super customizable granola that comes together in under an hour. We recommend making a big batch and experimenting with different combinations of nuts, seeds and dried fruit!
- 3 cups Farmer Direct Organic Regular Rolled Oats
- 1/2 cup coarsely ground Farmer Direct Organic Brown Flaxseed
- 1/4 cup Farmer Direct Organic Brown Flaxseed, whole
- 1/2 cup roughly chopped pecans
- 1/4 cup pure maple syrup
- 1/8 cup coconut oil
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp. salt
Heat oven to 325 degrees.
In a large bowl, combine the oats, ground and whole flaxseed, and pecans. Toss gently until well combined.
In a small saucepan, heat the maple syrup, oil, and vanilla on low until just warm, about 3 minutes. Pour the mixture over dry ingredients and stir to coat evenly.
Spread the mixture onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Bake, stirring every 10 minutes, until the granola is evenly toasted, about 30 minutes. Cool completely before storing in a sealed container.
