Everybody needs a quick bean dip in their arsenal, and this should be the one! Perfectly smooth and savory with just the right amount of spice. Great as a lunchtime option with veggies, or as an appetizer.
- 1 cup prepared Farmer Direct Organic Chickpeas, drained and cooled
- 1 Tbsp. coconut oil
- 2 tsp. seasoning of choice: try sea salt and fresh ground pepper, smoked paprika and cumin, or cinnamon and sugar
Spread prepared chickpeas on a kitchen towel and allow them to air dry for at least 1 hour. Heat oven to 400 degrees.
In a medium bowl, toss chickpeas with coconut oil and seasoning until evenly coated.
Spread chickpeas evenly on a rimmed baking sheet. Bake for 35 minutes, or until golden and crispy. Allow to cool completely before enjoying.
